GUIDED HOMEWORK

STEP 1

To qualify for Model Guidance Day, you must first complete the guided exercises in your VIP Toolkit. These exercises, which include paper and mat practice, are focused on refining your artistic skills and technical ability. 

This preparation ensures that you can begin working with clients at a high standard and feel confident and ready to focus on essential soft skills, such as client care and salon etiquette. Each level of these exercises must be completed and assessed by Sara Mac through the Facebook group before progressing to live model work.

MODEL GUIDANCE

STEP 2

For your Model Guidance Day, I recommend choosing a trusted friend or family member as your model. They’re often the best choice because they can offer support, comfort, and honest feedback—and they’re less likely to cancel.

If you need help finding a model, consider using a Model Search Group on Facebook. To avoid last-minute cancellations, I strongly recommend asking them to confirm their commitment by securing a deposit. This ensures their genuine interest and minimises the risk of no-shows.

Please note:

  • Models must have no previous cosmetic tattooing.

  • They should be under 60 years old.

  • Models cannot be pregnant and must have no skin conditions or allergies.

It is your responsibility to ensure your model meets these criteria. If you’re uncertain about their suitability, please contact your trainer in advance with their details.

IMPORTANT:
If your model cancels, you will need to return at a later date to complete the program. Additional training time will incur a fee of $500, so it’s essential to plan carefully and secure a reliable model.
