WEEK 1

THEORY:

The most important part of this step is being able to continue the learning process without a lull.

I want you to revisit the Theory and get crystal clear on all the gold that took me 10 years to collect.

There is a whole bunch of stuff we didn’t cover during class that will really help you become an expert.

Remember… repetition 👏 builds 👏 excellence 👏

Easy Peasy…

Here’s your checklist of tasks to do in week 1:

  • Commit to spending a night soaking up the materials until it is all complete.

  • Take notes in your workbooks, or if you prefer working from a digital version, you can download a copy from the VIP Student Toolkit.

  • Test your proficiency by completing all the quizzes.

  • If something doesn’t make sense, post it on the Facebook Group so everyone can learn from the answer.

If you have done all the quizzes, you can move on to the next step.

Trust the process and lead yourself toward the best outcome with your newfound PMU family :)

WEEK 2 & 3

MAT EXERCISES:

Are you ready to get this party started?

I’m super excited because week 2 & 3 is where you will have all those AH HA moments!!!!

Yeap… this is the time all the things we learnt in class start to come together.

Our goal is to create a beautiful fusion between artistic ability and technical ability.

Human skin is NOT for practising, especially if you are not supervised by a professional.

Mastering the mat first is essential to eliminate any possibility of harm or long-term adverse effects on a real person.

Here’s your checklist of tasks to do in week 2 & 3:

  • Download your Mastery Mat Ebook(s) and follow the levels.

  • Use the tools supplied to complete the levels.

  • Post your mat progress on WhatsApp.

How to submit your work for weeks 2-3:

  • Focus on ONE exercise at a time. Do not move to the next exercise until you have been instructed to do so.

  • Practice the exercise 2-3 times.

  • Identify your best attempt.

  • Clean and dry your mat, ready to take a clear photo.

  • Crop the image so that only ONE exercise attempt is showing.

  • Post your results on WhatsApp.

  • I will provide digital corrections and feedback outlining what needs to be refined.

  • After you pass, repeat the steps for the next exercise.

PRO TIPS:

  • Don’t fill your entire mat before submitting work. Leave enough space to implement the feedback provided.

  • Don’t jump ahead, let me help you iron out any bad habits before you move on. Continuing work when your technique is wrong will only create bad muscle memory.

RULES:

  • Once you start this step, you are required to complete it within 2 weeks with a minimum of 5 submissions per week. Failure to do so will risk being made to start again or being refused model day.

  • Don’t spam my WhatsApp with anything other than your levels. Be respectful of the day and time you send messages and don’t demand a reply. I will respond as soon as I can and within business hours.

And if it all sounds too hard or confusing, take a deep breath and reach out for some help. OHMYBROW Academy Support Group is a safe place to express yourself and ask for extra support. All your questions will be answered and you’ll get the help you need to move forward with confidence and ease.

The aim of our Facebook Group is to teach you how simple, fun and powerful this whole process can be once you get a little practice under your belt.

WEEK 4

MAPPING MASTERY:

Can you smell the success? It is just around the corner.

I’m super excited because wee 4 is where you will have loads of fun!!!!

That means… It’s finally time to get stuck into MODELS.

Our goal is to create a keen eye for symmetry using our mapping guidelines.

As always, I want to remind you that this is a PRACTICE.

Don’t put pressure on yourself to have perfect results just yet. It took me a whole year to develop a keen sense of proportion and cut my time down from 1 hour to 2 minutes.

Instead, devote yourself to the process and focus on sharpening your skills - wherever they are at!

Here’s your checklist of tasks to do in week 4:

  • Grab your phone now and text 3 friends to be a mapping model.

  • Download the Mapping Manual and familiarise yourself with the steps.

  • Download the PhiApp, ready to check your work.

How to submit your work for week 4:

  • Create a pre-draw on your model using the correct tools.

  • Use a symmetry appto align the markings at each recommended point as outlined in your training.

  • If your markings show symmetry, great! Take a screenshot. If they dont, try again.

  • Post your best result on WhatsApp.

  • I will provide digital corrections and feedback outlining what needs to be refined.

  • After you pass repeat the steps for the next exercise.

PRO TIPS:

  • Zoom in!!!

  • Pivot the image until it is absolutely straight

  • Ensure good lighting

RULES:

  • Once you start this step, you are required to complete it within 1 week.

  • Don’t spam my WhatsApp with anything other than your levels. Be respectful of the day and time you send messages and don’t demand a reply. I will respond as soon as I can and within business hours.

And if it all sounds too hard or confusing, take a deep breath and reach out for some help. OHMYBROW Support Group is a safe place to express yourself and ask for extra support. All your questions will be answered, and you’ll get the help you need to move forward with confidence and ease.

BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS:

One last crucial step before we start on models (if you havnt’t already).

Obtaining your BBP Certificate is the absolute bare minimum health and safety standard you will need to be covered by insurance for model guidance day and beyond.

The aim is to remove all roadblocks, ready for you to continue your journey post-Model Day.

Don’t worry, it takes about 20 mins!

Here’s your checklist of tasks to do in week 5:

  • Enrol in the BBP Course available on the VIP Toolkit

  • Submit Your Quiz

Don’t give up! You have got this!

WEEK 6, 7 & 8

MODEL DAY:

I am thrilled you have made it this far.

You are officially one of the 5 %ers!!!

You are doing amazing, and I have full faith you will complete this task with ease. Thank you for trusting the process.

You may be feeling a little scared, but that is completely normal. When you revisit the OMB Salon, you will have my full support and supervision.

OMB has your back!!

Here’s your checklist of tasks to do in week 6, 7 & 8:

  • Contact Sara for approval and to find a suitable date and time.

  • Find a suitable model.

  • Enrol in the Model Guidance Day Program

  • Pack your tools and pigments.

  • Perform a full procedure with my support!

If you have learnt multiple styles (microblading, machine shading and lips) you will need to repeat this step for each one (within this remainder timeframe).

PRO TIPS:

For your Model Guidance Day, I recommend choosing a trusted friend or family member as your model. They’re often the best choice because they can offer support, comfort, and honest feedback—and they’re less likely to cancel.

If you need help finding a model, consider using a Model Search Group on Facebook. To avoid last-minute cancellations, I strongly recommend asking them to confirm their commitment by securing a deposit. This ensures their genuine interest and minimises the risk of no-shows.

  • Models must have no previous cosmetic tattooing.

  • They should be under 60 years old.

  • Models cannot be pregnant and must have no skin conditions or allergies.

It is your responsibility to ensure your model meets these criteria. If you’re uncertain about their suitability, please contact your trainer in advance with their details.

If your model cancels, you will need to return at a later date to complete the program. Additional training time will incur a fee of $500, so it’s essential to plan carefully and secure a reliable model.

Goodluck…
